About Vera

A practice grounded in truth, where being understood becomes the starting point for meaningful change.

Vera Counseling Collective is a small Arizona telehealth practice built on the belief that meaningful change begins with honesty—about what hurts, what has shaped you, and what truly matters. The work here is a grounded, compassionate space to understand yourself more deeply and move toward a life that feels more fully your own.

Vera was founded because good therapy shouldn't feel cold, overly clinical, or hard to access. Clients come to Kaiti with real, complicated lives — anxiety they can't outrun, grief that's taking longer than expected, patterns in relationships they can finally name — and they deserve a space that meets them there.

The work is warm and grounded, and it uses approaches with genuine evidence behind them. No promises of transformation or quick fixes — just steady, thoughtful care and a relationship where you can be honest about what's actually going on.

The name Vera

Vera is rooted in the idea of truth, of becoming more honest with yourself and more connected to what actually matters in your life. Meaningful transformation begins with that kind of honesty: seeing yourself more clearly, understanding what has shaped you, and choosing what you want to carry forward. The butterfly in the logo represents that process—growth and change that unfold quietly, from the inside out. That's the work here.

What guides the work

Values at Vera

Therapy that feels human

Warm, approachable, and honest. You're a person here, not a diagnosis or a case.

Evidence-informed care

Grounded in research, without losing warmth or flexibility for who's actually in the room.

Room for the whole story

Your context, culture, relationships, and beliefs are part of the work — not something to set aside.

Understanding, not prescribing

The goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly, rather than telling you who you should be.

Collaboration and respect

Honesty, emotional safety, and shared decision-making shape the work.

A steady place to return to

Vera is built to be a consistent, trusted practice you can come back to whenever the work calls for it.
